Music Policy

Our Service repertoire is drawn from two distinct areas of English Church Music: Firstly the period from 1500 - 1700 and secondly from the works of Contemporary Composers who have connections with the choir. We recorded some of our contemporary repertoire by composers we know in June 2006.

A Third section, that of 20th Century American & Norwegian Choral Music has been added to reflect our visits.  Also we will be adding some larger works by Bach, Boyce, Gibbons and other composers during the course of next year. Some of these will make use of strings as accompaniment.

During 2009 the Heritage Masterworks Chorale will work alongside the Heritage Singers. This group will perform neglected masterworks in interesting venues. Look out for more details.
