July Release of the latest CD - CHORAL TREASURES. 7.30pm Short Concert in St. Bartholomew's Church, Armley featuring some of the pieces on the CD. (Venue subject to confirmation.) Event to be re-arranged Previous visitors to the site will have seen in our December events "From 2.00 pm on 4th. Come and Sing Messiah for the City of Leeds at St. Bartholomew's Church, Armley". This will now take place on Saturday December 3rd. with the same timings and venue. Apologies to anyone hoping to come to this last year.	Music Policy Our Service repertoire is drawn from two distinct areas of English Church Music: Firstly the period from 1500 - 1700 and secondly from the works of Contemporary Composers who have connections with the choir. We recorded some of our contemporary repertoire by composers we know in June 2006. We are planning another recording of Service Music during the next year. A Third section, that of 20th Century American & Norwegian Choral Music has been added to reflect our visits. Also we will be adding some larger works by Bach, Boyce, Gibbons and other composers during the course of next year. Some of these will make use of strings as accompaniment. During 2009 the Heritage Masterworks Chorale began to work alongside the Heritage Singers. This group will perform neglected masterworks in interesting venues. Look out for more details. Later in 2011 August Evensong in Leathley Parish Church September Evensong in All Saints Church, Helmsley November Choral Evensong at St. Bartholomew's Church, Armley, Leeds December Come and Sing Messiah for the city in St. Bartholomew's Church, Armley 2.00 pm on 17th. Carols Service for Age Concern in either Leeds Parish Church or St. Anne's Cathedral (provisional) 6.00 pm on 24th. Carols in Crowne Plaza Hotel, Wellington Street, Leeds (provisional) Projected Tour of the Baltic in 2013, we are planning to visit the Capital cities of the Baltic to share the heritage of English Choral Music with the audiences there and to enjoy the local music and culture. We are producing a CD during 2011 to sell beforehand as part of our fund-raising and to take with us as gifts to our hosts during the visit. More details of the CD are to be found on the recordings page and more details of the visit will appear when they are known.
