Latest News

There is an exciting range of events planned for the choir with the usual mix of smaller village churches and larger places such as the recently elevated Leeds Minster!

Hopefully with advanced notice, you can slot the dates into your diary so that we can have as full a choir as possible when we go out to sing.

Please note the date and time of the AGM as it is important the we take account of all views, suggestions and opinions.

Subs will be due after the AGM. They were fixed last year at £45.00 and unless there is a decision to raise them that is what they will be. In late June or early July, please see Julie about paying yours or sorting out staggered instalments.

Our latest CD, Choral Treasures,  is now on sale at £9.99. Order your copy - or better still copies -  now from Julie.

A letter of thanks has come from Chester. Click here to read it.

A Plea

Please try to keep your availability up to date on the data file - link immediately above. Tim uses to find out how many people are going to sing at events; to check the balance of parts and see if we need to try find singers from elsewhere or to cancel the event or whether we have large enough resources for works involving divisi. Alan also uses it for sorting out music and Edward uses it to count how many copies of psalms or hymns to print so as to avoid waste and extra cost to the choir. If you cannot manage to use this facility, please email and I'll try and arrange a time to show you. If you do not wish to use it, please let me know your suggestion for a way that works to find out who is available or not for choir events.
